1, The constitution of Cash register

Cash register is make in Barcode reader and Electrical cash register. Electrical cash register is include ECR kayboard, customer display, mini-bill printer, PC mainframe and display, cash drawer these 5 section.

Barcode reader: the machine using for scanning the commodity

The main type are: Pen model barcode reader, CCD barcode reader, laser scanner barcode reader, fixup model barcode reader and so on. Thereinto fixup model barcode reader is widely used by some emporium because of it's advantage of highly resolving power, scanning fleetly, long life and so on. Handy CCD barcode reader, laser scanner barcode reader, working distance is very long, using freely, it is very popular in some small supermarket.

Please note: the optics face of Reader can not knock, scrape, cover protection things, note the connection can not part. Keep the machine clean.

The function of Electrical cash register

Accept the barcode input by barcode scanner, according barcode commodity data in cash register EMS memory to find the related content of that commodity, e.g. PLU, Unit price and so on. And calculate the actual total amount during current sales.

Finish gathering, give back change, open the cash drawer, put in the payment, then print out uniformity two part sales receipt.

Deal with diversified promotion function which is seted up in advance: Discount, correct, cancel, cheque, Reture and so on.

Transfer the sales report Via network to mainframe of back up computer center, and stock automatically.

Keyboard of cash register

The basic kayboard of cash register: number key(0~9 number), qperation key, promotion contral key (discount), payment mode key(cash, cheque, foreign currency, credit card, gift certificate), cancel/correct key, trade over key(subtotal, total) and so on.

Cash register function key: department sort key, lock password key, tax rate key, tax rate calculate key, valuta exchange key, report print key, setup freely key and so on.

Normally, the keyboard have around 35keys, at the top right corner there is a key jack, it is separated to 0~3 files, the setup is different with every file.

0 file: close status file 1 file: cashier file 2 file: operator/director of operator file 3 file: Computer department file

Customer display: it is a machine which is face to customer and display the information of commodity name, price, total amount and so on. Usually, it can circumgyrate, usually customer display at most can display two line character, the display language can be English, Chinese, Spell, when as gethering status, ordinarily it can display Green, red, yellow and so on, but before input commodity, customer display show nothing. After input commodity, customer display should display commodity quantity and price. After press " Total amount", customer display show commodity total price. After input the cash which customer gives then press "cash", customer display will show changes. In close status, customer display will show "welcome"

Mini bill printer: The machine use for printing trade characters bill, usually every mainframe collocate two printers, print automatically at the same time, one for save, one for customers, or one printer print out uniformity with two part receipt. The receipt content which print out by printer is usually include store name, time, trade number, cash register number, commodity name, quantity, unit price, total price, commodity code or commodity barcode and gathering amount, charge amount and so on. Put sales list fixed on the rewinder of printer, press "formfeed" key, printer will formfeed automatically, after printer stop to formfeed, press the "formfeed" key several times, then keep the paper right.

PC mainframe and display

PC mainframe CPU  EMS memory 2~4MB harddisk, floppy drive, memory card, monitor, network card, display.

Cash drawer, connect with cash register, the compressed metal for saving cash, have Electrical lock, switch is contraled by gathering key. There are some small grilles and clip.
