Cash Drawer

A cash drawer is generally a compartment that the cash drawer is placed into when a transaction has taken place with a cash drawer. Cash drawers are usually connected to the base of a cash register or point of sale equipment. Most cash drawers have plastic compartments for coins and notes for quick movement from cash drawer to customer. A cash drawer is a simple device that slides in and out of a lockable box for safety and speed. When an electric signal is sent from a cash register, a solenoid moves a catch and a spring will force the drawer to move outwards.
